The Consular Section is located on the 24th floor of Burj
al-Fatih
and is open to the public 08:00 - 15:00 hrs Sunday -
Thursday. telephone

The Consular Section of the Embassy looks after the
interests of
all British nationals visiting or living in Libya. These
pages tell
you about the assistance we can (and can not) offer should
you encounter
problems during your time in Libya. They explain the
process for
registering your presence in Libya with the Embassy. They
also give
information about applying for and renewing passports and
about
other services provided by the Consular Section and give
the latest
British Government travel advice for Libya.

We operate a network of volunteer
Consular
Wardens who will be able to keep in touch with the Embassy
in the
event of a general emergency. Please contact consular
section for
details of the warden in your area/company.

If you have any complaint about your treatment at the
