The Embassy’s Commercial, Visa, Consular and Management Sections are located on the 24th Floor of the Burj al-Fatih building in central Tripoli.

Visa Section:

Open to the public from Sunday to Thursday from 0800-1200; telephone enquiries Sunday to Thursday from 1100-1500.

Consular Section:

Open to the public 0900-1200 Sunday to Thursday for passport, visa and notarial applications, and from 1330-1400 for the collection of passports and notarial documents only. British citizens requiring consular assistance can call us 0800-1500 Sunday to Thursday. Those seeking emergency consular assistance outside these hours should telephone the Embassy Duty Officer on

These are co-located with the Ambassador’s Residence off Sharia al Shatt parallel to the Corniche road between the Mehari Hotel and the Secretariat for Foreign Affairs.
